1. Product Brief Describtion
Focusens MFP-2 series temp. sensor is designed especially for flat surface temperature sensing and protection of UPS battery inverterts power stations. Instead of typical 2 wires, the three-wire battery temperature sensor is designed specifically for advanced battery management systems requiring enhanced precision safety and voltage protection.
Unlike traditional two-wire NTC sensors, it features an additional independent grounding wire that isolates the temperature-sensing circuit from high-voltage fluctuations, ensuring stable and accurate temperature readings. The sensor integrates a high-precision NTC thermistor and uses durable PVC, silicone, or Teflon-insulated wires capable of withstanding high temperatures and transient voltage surges. Its metal ring terminal ensures excellent thermal contact and easy installation on battery surfaces.
This upgraded design significantly improves noise immunity, prevents false temperature readings, and enhances overall system protection—making it ideal for EV battery packs, energy-storage systems, power tools, and other high-reliability lithium battery applications.
